An organisation developing Urban Farming in the Samford area

The Samford Urban Farming Centre will be developing intensive commercial, sustainable, organic agriculture in the Samford area. Providing support to growers on both private and public land in the Samford area.
The Centre plans to develop an educational program (short and long courses), a farm shop for sale of produce direct to the public, food processing facilities (cheese, breads, pickles, etc), food and farming festivals, an on-site restaurant, and sustainable recycling of waste by means of processing of green waste into fertiliser.
